Key for any piece we create from Teak Wood is the humidity content of the wood. Rule of thumb is a 10% - 12% humidity content makes a piece perfectly ready for manufacturing and loading into the box and the container. For certain pieces up to 15% is tolerable for build. We review for the critical pieces on a daily basis with the manufacturer to understand the status of the kiln drying process.
